⁠The 2026 Trash to Treasures Spring Flea Market will return to the Margaret Todd Senior Center on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 9am - 2pm!

Admission to this market is free! The market is held indoors, rain or shine. The snack bar will feature hot coffee and many more tasty eats available for purchase. ⁠Come shop for unique second-hand treasures. 

ATTENTION VENDORS:

The application period opens on Wednesday, January 21 and closes on Wednesday, February 11 at 4PM. Applications will be available online and at the Margaret Todd Senior Center (1560 Hill Road). All applications must be submitted to the Margaret Todd Senior Center by the deadline above.

VENDORS, PLEASE NOTE CHANGES TO THE APPLICATION PROCESS:
To ensure fairness and efficiency, the application process has changed, and booth spaces are no longer assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Booths will instead be assigned through a randomized process. There are several reasons for this change that include but are not limited to: a high demand for booths, staff time constraints, and the desire to provide a fair application process. If you have any special booth requests, please indicate this on this application in the designated area. If/when your name is drawn, we will do our best to accommodate special requests (ex: location preference), but please realize that we cannot accommodate all of them.

All applications will be put into a randomization software and participants will be notified of their acceptance status and assigned booth number by email and mail. Payment is required at the time of registration; however, payment will not be processed unless you have been randomly selected for participation.

Double and triple booth spaces are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. For example, if the software randomly selects your application for the market and you have indicated on the application that you would like a double booth space, this may not be possible if there are no more double booths available. In that case, you will be assigned a single booth space.

The 5th Annual Novato Spectrum Safety Event focuses on connecting our adaptive needs community to our Novato First Responders and other valuable resources in our City and County to continue to build strong relationships within our community. The event will feature out of this world activities geared specifically for participants with adaptive needs provided by local partner agencies who directly support the adaptive needs community.

Registration for this event begins in February.

Please note, this event has been specifically curated for individuals with physical or cognitive adaptive needs and will not include loud music, bright lights, or overly stimulating sensory activities. Service animals welcome, please leave pets at home.

This free community event takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Scottsdale Pond in Novato from 8am-12pm. This event is geared towards children ages 6-15 years old, and all participants must be accompanied by an adult. Participants must complete a 45 minute Learn to Fish clinic that features educational displays and mini workshops in order to borrow bait, tackle, and rods. Once they have completed the clinic they may fish until 12pm.

Pre-registration for a timeslot is encouraged, however drop-ins will be taken if space is available. Ages 16 and up need to have a valid California Fishing License.

Novato Parks, Recreation and Community Services will be holding its 2026 Holiday Crafts Faire on Friday, December 4th, 6PM-9PM, and Saturday, December 5th 10AM-4PM at the Margaret Todd Senior Center located at 1560 Hill Road, Novato.

There will be over 50 artisans selling handmade crafts including jewelry, ceramics, specialty foods, wreaths, ornaments, bath and body products and more! There will be entertainment throughout the event and food will be available. It is recommended that shoppers bring cash as we cannot guarantee all vendors will be able to accept credit cards. Don’t miss this great opportunity to purchase unique holiday gifts! Admission is free to the public on both days. 

Vendor applications will be available beginning Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
