Covering just over 98 acres, O'Hair Park is the largest park owned and operated by the City of Novato. The park is situated at the junction of Novato Boulevard and Sutro Avenue in the northwest corner of the city, where suburban civilization and rural West Marin meet. From the intersection it runs west all the way to Stafford Lake County Park and south to the backyards of homes on Michelle Circle, Trish Drive and Daryl Avenue. The walking trail at O'Hair Park is very popular, especially among dog-walkers, cross country meets and equestrians, so be prepared to see dogs and horses along the way.  If you're bringing a dog, please remember to keep your dog on a leash and pick up after your pet.

  • Hours:  8:00AM - Dusk

Want to book this park? We recommend submitting a rental inquiry first to receive availability details and suitability feedback within 4 business days before formally applying.

While the inquiry will NOT reserve the space, it allows us to provide helpful preliminary guidance to inform your decision on whether to proceed with a full permit application.
