Maintenance Schedule:  Dogbone Meadow closes every Wednesday between the hours of 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.

Dogbone Meadow is the City of Novato's only fenced-in off leash dog park. A 0.2 mile concrete walking path winds around a large area of sod turf (approximately 1 acre). Other features include agility equipment for dogs to enjoy.

Brian's Place Gentle Play Area is a separate area designated for timid dogs, senior dogs, recovering dogs and small dogs (less than 30 pounds). Friendly dogs of all sizes are welcome in the park.  Park rules.

Water bowls and poop scoopers are available. The Dogbone Meadow Dog Park Renovations project was completed November 3, 2018 and included site grading, removal and replacement of irrigation system and lawn, installation of a year-round accessible path around the lawn area, installation of multiple concrete/asphalt pads for new and existing amenities, partial resurfacing of the parking lot to accommodate a new walkway and to relocate accessible parking stall, restriping of the parking lot, new fencing and gates, relocation of shade structure and signs, and installation of new site amenities such as drinking fountains and a dog rinse area (no soap permitted).

Special acknowledgement and gratitude to the former non-profit group, Friends of Dogbone Meadow, for their support over the years. Friends of Dogbone Meadow disbanded in June of 2022.
