City of Novato's Parks and Facilities Directory

Whether you are a first time visitor or a regular guest, we hope that you enjoy the many parks and facilities that the City of Novato's Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department has to offer. From Pioneer Park picnic tables and Bay Trail walkways to bocce ball courts and soccer fields, we have a wide variety of parks and facilities that are available for you to enjoy.

Please visit the Parks & Facilities Reservations page to learn more about the many parks and facilities that are available to rent. This includes parks/picnic areas, indoor facilities, and athletic facilities.

Parks & Facilities Related Concerns:

The City of Novato Public Works Department maintains parks and facilities. Submit an online service request to report parks or median issues, potholes, traffic signal problems, graffiti and other non-emergency repair needs.

The Hill Recreation Area is a 12-acre park adjacent to the Margaret Todd Senior Center and Hill Gymnasium, creating an exciting recreational destination for residents of all ages. The Hill Recreation Area includes a synthetic turf sports field, grass field, pickleball and bocce ball courts, and chess/checker tables. The park also features an expansive parking lot with electric vehicle charging stations.

Hill Master Plan park renovations completed in 2020 enhanced this recreational destination in Novato. The Hill Master Plan is a phased project and we hope to complete the second phase in the future. For additional project information, please visit the project webpage at novato.org/hillmasterplan.
