The City is pleased to announce that it has partnered with the Transportation Authority of Marin (TAM) to launch the “Street Smarts Marin” program in Novato. The campaign will target driver, pedestrian and bicyclist behavior and consists of banners and signs placed throughout the City to educate the public on safe roadway behavior.
This countywide campaign will officially launch on August 24th and will run until November 1st. Crews will be installing Street Smarts Marin banners around town during the next few weeks. Each school will be provided a large horizontal banner to display on their property. In addition, a limited number of lawn signs are being made available to members of the public who wish to participate by advertising the campaign in their neighborhoods.
Lawn signs will be available on a first come, first serve basis at the Novato Gymnastics Center at 950 Seventh Street. For more information on the Street Smarts Marin campaign, please go to the TAM website at www.streetsmartsmarin.org.
