PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Novato Design Review Commission will hold a public workshop on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. in the Novato City Hall, 901 Sherman Avenue, Novato, California, to review revised sign design options and gateway features developed for the Downtown Novato Wayfinding Signage Program. The Design Review Commission will obtain public input and prepare a recommendation regarding the revised sign concepts and gateway features for consideration by the Novato City Council. The Downtown Novato Wayfinding Signage Program is intended to provide a plan and design for a uniform sign system to direct residents and visitors to Downtown Novato, and its various amenities, such as public parking and the Civic Green.

Information about the Wayfinding Signage Program is available on the City's website (www.novato.org) and at the City of Novato Community Development Department, 75 Rowland Way, #110, Novato, CA 94945. All inquiries should be directed to Steve Marshall, Senior Planner, at (415)899-8942, fax (415)899-8217, or smarshall@novato.org, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the City of Novato. It is recommended that an appointment be made with the staff member listed above prior to visiting the City offices. Please note the City of Novato Community Development Department is closed from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Monday through Thursday. City offices are closed every Friday.
