Novato Parks & Recreation is pleased to announce the release of our 2022 Winter/Spring Activity Guide!
Our winter programs for youth, beginning in January, include expanded preschool and development gymnastics classes, Novato Chess Club, Youth Theater, Lego Engineering, Baking for Kids, and more! Adult programming has also expanded in 2022 and includes Yoga, Sewing and Tailoring, Ballroom and Tap Dance, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Line Dancing, Chair Aerobics, Pickleball Classes and more.
“It has been such an exciting time to welcome back our community as we continue to bring back and expand on pre-pandemic programming and special events. The new year is a great opportunity to try something new and we encourage everyone to join us for some Novato Fun in 2022 and register for a new program or class!” said Katie Gauntlett, Parks & Recreation Deputy Director.
All Parks & Recreation programming will continue to abide by State and County Public Health guidelines. Masks are required for all youth programs regardless of vaccination status, as well as for unvaccinated adults. Additional health and safety protocols include social distancing when feasible, handwashing, frequent surface cleaning and disinfecting, and other precautionary practices. For additional information, our Parks & Recreation COVID-19 Action Plan is available on page 5 of the Activity Guide.
The City will continue to closely monitor public health orders and will keep our community informed of any changes to our programming.
