Report Non-Emergency Issues Using Online Service Request Tool

Post Date:08/31/2023 12:00 PM

Have you heard about Novato’s Service Request tool? Our online reporting tool allows you to report non-emergency issues around town from your mobile device, tablet, or computer. It’s the easiest way to report potholes, tree maintenance issues, traffic signal problems, graffiti, weed abatement issues, trash or debris removal, and other non-emergency service needs at your convenience. You can also submit a request to notify the City of quality of life or concerns related to homelessness.

When you submit a Service Request, it gets sent directly to the appropriate Novato team member to review and address – following these simple steps ensures the most efficient response possible.

To use the tool, visit novato.org/servicerequest and follow these prompts:

  • Include a photo with your request - This step is optional, but a photo can help expedite your request as staff can identify the issue more clearly.
  • Provide an accurate address or location - Help our team locate your issue by including the correct location.
  • Choose the correct category – We have a list of options available for you to choose from to ensure your request is assigned to the appropriate staff member.
  • Provide your contact information – This helps our team know who to contact in case we need additional information regarding your request. You’ll also receive a confirmation email with the details of your request.

For more information or to submit a Service Request, please visit novato.org/servicerequest.
