The City of Novato is excited to host and sponsor a diverse lineup of exciting fall events for our community to enjoy. From the Trash to Treasures Flea Market to our Floating Pumpkin Patch, the Not-So-Scary Halloween Magic Show, and so much more — there is something for everyone!
Trash to Treasures Flea Market
Saturday, September 28 from 9am – 2pm
Margaret Todd Senior Center, 1560 Hill Road
Fall into fantastic finds at the Trash to Treasures Flea Market. This free event is held indoors – rain or shine. Food and other goodies will be available for purchase. This year, explore even more treasures at our newly added booths.
Floating Pumpkin Patch
Saturday, October 12 from 1pm – 3pm
Hamilton Pool, 203 El Bonito Drive
Splash, play and decorate pumpkins at the 2nd Annual Floating Pumpkin Patch. Ticket includes pool entry, a pumpkin and pumpkin decorating materials. Enjoy games and activities outside the pool if you prefer to stay dry. Please note: Pre-registration by October 1 is required by all pool attendees.

Nostalgia Days Car Show and Night Cruise
Friday, October 11 from 5pm – 7pm & Saturday, October 12 from 10am – 4pm
Downtown Novato on Grant Avenue
Join the Downtown Novato Business Association for the 28th Annual Nostalgia Days Classic Car Show. Enjoy live music while you admire classic cars, hot rods and customs. This event includes a Friday Night Hot Rod Cruise through Downtown Novato.

Movie in the Park
Saturday, October 12 at 7pm
Pocket Park, 950 Seventh Street
Join friends and family for a free movie at Pocket Park, where we will be playing A Bug’s Life. Movie begins approximately 15 minutes after sunset. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic dinner to enjoy during the show. Please leave non-service animals at home.
Novato Gymnastics Center Silver Celebration

Indigenous Peoples’ Day Event

The Multicultural Advisory Commission (MAC) is hosting an Indigenous Peoples' Day event which will feature a screening of 'Against the Current', a documentary about preserving Native heritage, followed by a Q&A with a Museum of the American Indian representative.

Downtown Novato
Bring your little ghosts and goblins to Downtown Novato where they can trick or treat at various downtown businesses. This event is free and open to the public.
Día de los Muertos Celebration
Saturday, November 2 from 4pm – 6pm
Novato Civic Green, 901 Sherman Avenue
Join us for our inaugural Día de los Muertos celebration, where we’ll honor and celebrate deceased loved ones with ofrendas (offerings), festive crafts, delicious food and vibrant music. All ages are welcome at this exciting cultural celebration.
