Novato’s Annual Street Paving Project is underway with roadway improvements scheduled for Clay Court, Redwood Boulevard, Rowland Boulevard, Indian Valley Road, Sherman Avenue and Grant Avenue.
Beginning Monday, June 23, crews will start concrete repair work including improvements to sidewalks, curbs, gutters and ADA access.
Street Paving Schedule
Paving work is scheduled for the following dates and locations:
- Clay Court (Alameda del Prado to private portion) | June 27 - July 3
- Redwood Boulevard (Rowland Blvd to 150' North of Rowland Blvd) | July 8 - July 21
- Rowland Boulevard (Redwood Blvd to South Novato Blvd) | July 8 - July 21
- Indian Valley Road (Chamberlain Avenue west to City limits) | July 14 - August 7
- Sherman Avenue (De Long Avenue to Grant Avenue) | July 18 - July 28
- Grant Avenue (Eight Street to Seventh Street) | July 24 - July 31
Work will occur Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Please note: this schedule is tentative, and all work is weather dependent.
Please maintain low speeds when traveling through construction zones and observe “no parking” signs. Roads will remain open with minor traffic delays.
