A Unique Senior Community in Novato 

Marin Valley Mobile Country Club (MVMCC) is home to more than 400 seniors and remains an important source of affordable housing in Novato. Since purchasing the property in 1997, the City of Novato has worked to preserve the park as a stable, affordable, and sustainable community where seniors can age in place. 

The City recognizes that Marin Valley is more than housing, it is home to a longstanding and connected community of residents.

The City’s long-standing goal has been to help Novato seniors remain in their homes and community with dignity, stability, and affordability. 

In considering any decisions regarding Marin Valley Mobile Country Club, the City’s priorities include: 

  • Preserving housing affordability  
  • Supporting long-term community stability  
  • Maintaining sustainable operations 
  • Helping seniors age in place

The City’s mobile home rent control ordinance limits annual rent increases to the Consumer Price Index (CPI), helping maintain affordability for residents over time.
