Description

Proposed 94,200 square-foot self-storage facility on a 1.7-acre (lease area) portion of a 3.2 acre site that includes the construction of three buildings that contain 597 self-storage units, a manager’s office, and ancillary improvements. Two of the proposed buildings are single-story with heights up to 20 feet, and range in size from 4,875 to 8,425 square feet. One of the proposed buildings has 2 and 3 story tall portions with a primary height of 35 feet, and a peak height of 40 feet for building portions that accommodate the elevators and stairwells and is 82,100 square feet in floor area. The two story portion of the building is 25 feet in height. An on-site 1,200 square-foot management office would be located in one of the 3 buildings. The management office and storage buildings are proposed to be open 7 days per week. Ancillary improvements include on-site parking stalls, landscaping, stormwater bio-retention, security fences, and a gated entry system.

Environmental Review

The Planning Commission adopted a resolution finding that the project is exempt from additional environmental review pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and Section 15332.
