Project Overview

Description

The City is proposing to sell a small portion of Assessor's Parcel # 143-281-14 to the North Marin Water District for water system improvements that will improve water delivery service to city residents.

The proposed pump station will replace an undersized system that currently feeds the Crest tank, off Laguna Vista Drive. The current pump station does not have adequate capacity to meet demand during the summer months. The proposed pump station will have adequate capacity for all of the residents east of Atherton Avenue.

Schedule

This project is scheduled to be presented to City Council in June 2018. If approved, the sale of this parcel is expected to be completed in Summer 2018. After the sale is complete, North Marin Water District will take full ownership of this project. 

Cost

The North Marin Water District is reimbursing the City for project review costs.
