The Novato Arts Center at Hamilton Field, located at 500 S. Palm Drive, provides a campus setting for artists who work in a variety of media, from oils and watercolor to ceramics and metal, at the historic airfield, once called the "Hollywood of military bases". The facility has been renovated, retaining its original 1930s Spanish style architecture. The Novato Arts Center campus consists of four buildings, housing over 60 individual artist studios and Beso Bistro Cafe, a neighborhood restaurant.
Studio Rentals at the Novato Arts Center
Occasionally there are arts studios available to rent at the Novato Arts Center. These studios range in size from 127 – 321 square feet. All renters have access to kitchen space (full size refrigerator and microwave), a classroom, and can also participate in rotating exhibitions in the entry gallery to the 781 studio building.
